Constantly drawn to new roles and challenges, Oskar Linnros has opted out of the spotlight of the big stages in recent years. However, that doesn't change the fact that he is one of the most influential Swedish artists of recent decades – a position he immediately took with his epoch-making debut album 'Vilja bli' from 2010.

The album, whose fusion of high-energy soulful pop music and confessional lyrics, came to be an instruction manual for an entire generation of Swedish pop musicians. Now it's time once again to open the door to Linnros' own carefully crafted musical universe – a shift in focus that both last summer's packed Way Out West gig and the single 'Hypnotiserad' hinted at.

This summer, Oskar Linnros will be giving a few exclusive gigs and on August 15 we can look forward to a long-awaited gig at Furuvik's Stora Scen, it was a full seven years since the last one.
